Cool Destination, Iceland

Flag of Iceland Iceland is a country of extreme geological contrasts. Widely known as “The Land of Fire and Ice”, home to some of the largest glaciers in Europe and some of the world’s most active volcanoes.

East part of Iceland is characterized by breathtaking fjords, small charming fishing villages and an extraordinary palette of colors in sharp contrast with the narrow fjords, jagged peaks, waterfalls and endless green valleys.

The west part by fjords, valleys but also by volcanoes craters and of course the Snaefellsjokull glacier. It was also here most of the Icelandic sagas, heroes or ventures took place.
